Reasons Why You Should Adopt a Pet and not buy

By choosing to adopt a pet from a respected and certified rescue group, you are helping to end puppy and kitten farms by putting them out of business. Puppy and kitten farms are cruel and inhumane, and their only purpose is for the breeder to make money fast. Dogs and cats are typically kept in horrid living conditions and have many health and behavioral issues. When the adults can no longer produce puppies or kittens, they are disposed of like garbage. By Adopting a kitten or puppy or even better an old cat or dog to will help  put an end very cruel and inhumane farms.

and not all but some Pet Shop just see a person with a wallet, not the pets wellbeing

Do not be put off by older cats, they can be better suited for families with children or elderly people

When you adopt a cat that is older, many have been in homes with children before and so know to be calm and gentle with them. kittens tend to be more easily excited and play rougher, meaning that they are not always ideal for young children.

Older cats temperament, size, behavioral traits, are well established. Adopting an older pet leaves you less likely for unexpected surprises that can come with puppies and kittens.

Kittens are cute, but they can also be destructive. Full of energy  So if you’re not prepared for a kitten to run up your fly screen door or tear up your furniture run across your table, or have clean up toilet accidents off the carpet, then look at an older cat. is probably more suitable and are likely to be already house trained and will enjoy playing with toys more than tearing up your furniture.
