Callie has a horrible start to life, getting pregnant while only a kitten herself. Then she was dumped at a vet with one of her kittens, and we took her in shortly after. Her other kittens were dumped at the same vet a few days later.
Callie was adopted with her son and a few other kittens earlier this year. With a house full of cats, sadly Callie found it too overwhelming. She was unable to settle and her owners made the heartbreaking decision to return her to us.
She has the most stunning eyes that melt your heart, and a very sweet nature.
Callie is very affectionate and loves cuddles. Not quite a lap cat, but she does sit nearby so you can pat her easily. Callie seems to prefer hanging out with people rather than other cats.
She also seems to be more comfortable with women, but with patience from the right people, she can learn to trust men again.
She would suit a quiet household as the only cat, with children from 10+ yrs. She is an indoor-only cat.
