Meet Portia. 

She was rescued from the streets and brought to our shelter when she was 12 months old. In that time, Portia has really come out of her shell. While it can take a bit of time to earn her trust, it’s worth the wait.

Portia will let you know exactly how and where she wants to be petted, like turning her head so her ear touches your hand. She has a spunky personality and loves to play.

She gets on well with other cats who aren’t too dominant. If a cat is feisty, it can scare her and she gets skittish.  She has become very smoochy with calm cats and the people she trusts.  

Portia is an indoor-only cat and would suit any household that is not loud or rowdy. She would thrive as the only cat or with another calm cat.
